Colosseum
Colosseum is the Augsburg area's flagship FKK club and one of the more distinctive venues of its kind in Bavaria. Spanning approximately 2500 square metres, the club commits fully to a Roman Empire theme — think columns, mosaic details, warm Mediterranean colour palettes, and an overall design language that aims to transport visitors into an ancient bathhouse fantasy. The execution is thorough enough to set the venue apart from the generic wellness-club aesthetic that dominates much of the German FKK landscape.
The all-inclusive entry fee of roughly 65 euros covers access to the full range of facilities: a swimming pool that serves as the social centrepiece, multiple sauna and steam areas, a buffet restaurant, a bar with non-alcoholic drinks included, and various lounge and relaxation zones spread across the property. Alcoholic drinks are available at additional cost but remain reasonably priced. The premises are well-maintained, and the housekeeping standards are consistently noted as a positive by visitors.
Colosseum is located on Gubener Strasse in the Augsburg suburb of Stadtbergen, accessible by car with on-site parking available. The venue is open daily, with weekends drawing the largest crowds. Weekday visits tend to be quieter and more relaxed. The exterior is discreet despite the grand interior ambitions. Photography is strictly prohibited throughout the premises. Entry is restricted to persons aged 18 and over. Checking the website for current hours and any themed event schedules before visiting is advisable.
