Mein Haus am See

Mein Haus am See is one of those rare Berlin spots that truly operates around the clock. In the morning, freelancers arrive with their laptops for coffee; in the afternoon, the place transforms into a cosy cafe; by evening, it becomes a lively bar; and in the late hours, an improvised club. This versatility makes Mein Haus am See a fixture in the neighbourhood around Brunnenstrasse, where Mitte meets Prenzlauer Berg.

The decor is deliberately living-room-like: worn-in sofas, bookshelves, and dimmed lighting create an atmosphere that quickly feels like home. Drink prices are surprisingly moderate for a Mitte location. A beer rarely costs more than 3.50 euros, and the small menu of snacks and simple dishes also stays affordable.

Open daily from 08:00 - there is no real official closing time. On weekends, DJs set up in the back area from late evening, creating a relaxed club atmosphere. The venue sits directly at Rosenthaler Platz (U8), making access perfect. Card payment is possible, though cash is still recommended.
