Der Boiler

Der Boiler is Berlin's best-known and largest sauna for gay men. Across roughly 1500 square metres on Mehringdamm in Kreuzberg, the facility offers everything a first-class gay sauna should: Finnish sauna, steam bath, whirlpool, a spacious relaxation area, a bar, and various additional rooms. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the clientele is broadly mixed in terms of age and type.

What makes Der Boiler particularly notable is its continuous weekend opening hours. From Friday afternoon through Monday morning, the operation runs without interruption, giving the venue a unique dynamic. During the week, it is open Monday to Thursday from 12:00 to 06:00. Entry ranges between 15 and 25 euros depending on the time of day and day of the week. Towels are provided, and drinks are available at the bar at moderate prices.

The location on Mehringdamm is central and easily accessible: the U-Bahn station Mehringdamm (U6/U7) is directly outside the door. The neighbourhood around Mehringdamm is already a centre of queer life in Berlin, with numerous bars and clubs within walking distance. Der Boiler is exclusively for men; cleanliness and respectful behaviour are expected.
