Bahndamm — officially "Hinter dem Bahndamm" — is arguably Düsseldorf's most iconic red-light venue. The multi-story block has stood just a short walk from the central train station since 1962 and is a firmly established part of the city's scene.

The format is a textbook German Laufhaus: a building with several floors, numbered rooms, and illuminated windows facing the street. You walk the hallways, knock on a door, and that is it.
